ACTIVITY REVIEW

OUTLINE
​The SEMI Taiwan High-Tech Facility Committee (HTFC) promotes sustainable development by committing to environmental protection initiatives alongside the economic growth of Taiwan's high-tech industries. On July 5, HTFC is co-organizing a "Symposium on High-Tech Fab Air Pollution Control Technology and Management" with Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau. The seminar will have an inward-outward focus, discussing strategies for air pollution control and management.
 
Air pollution, especially PM2.5 particulates, is a problem everyone faces together, because of its harmful effects on health. Reducing PM2.5 is a priority of global community. Thus, achieving shared goals enables Taiwan to be more competitive in the global marketplace for advanced manufacturing, and become a healthier place to live.
 
In recognition of the industry's efforts, the keynote speech will be given by Mr. Chang Tzi-Chin, director of the Executive Yuan Environmental Protection Department. Director Chang will provide insights on the effectiveness of current initiatives in air pollution prevention technology, management, and awareness.
 
Academics, industry, and members of the general public are welcome to attend. We invite you to join us.
